The Hospital Trinity is committed to quality staff, quality care and quality facilities. At Trinity we offer 24 hour care 7 days a week for short or long term residents. Registered nursing staff are constantly on duty and our own Doctor attends every day, and is on call 24 hours per day for emergencies.
	The Home As a companion to the hospital, is the Trinity Rest Home with single rooms that can be personalised to the resident's needs. Their own pictures on the walls, their own furniture... Entertainment, exercise, hobbies and outings are regular events organised by our recreational staff. You will also find there is a liveliness, warmth and friendliness about the Home that is clearly a reflection of the Trinity values.
New Wing To keep pace with the ever-changing requirements of the health system Trinity Home and Hospital has recently added a new 9-bed wing to the facility. More and more people are receiving treatment outside of Hawera or are staying shorter lengths of time in hospital. To meet these changes Trinity is now providing increasing amounts of convalescence, palliative and rehabilative care.
	The new rooms provide patients with a home like atmosphere with ensuites in some. A large sunny lounge area to relax in is another feature of the new wing along with a centrally located amenity block where a family room, shower and toilet facility can be found.
The management and staff at Trinity strive to cater for all aspects of patient care, not only today but also into the future. The registered nursing staff are trained to provide this care in a professional caring atmosphere making a patient's stay as comfortable as possible.

Trinity Home and Hospital provides, and will continue to provide South Taranaki with a modern well equipped facility which is constantly changing to meet the requirements of Health Care in the 21^st century.
